Today at the pediatrician you received four more shots. Luckily Daddy came along to help hold your hands. You cried just a little (far less than last time) and are otherwise a very healthy girl.

Today was Aunt Becky's wedding. You were well behaved and gave big smiles to everyone. Here you are being held by Nan Leamon as Pappy grins in the back.

Dear Mallory,
You are four months old and my how quickly you've grown! You are a real person with likes and dislikes. June was a very busy month for you. You found your feet and what a glorious day it was. Like two more hands you didn't even know about. Why did no one tell you that you had feet? Oh, the cruelty of it all.
You now roll from back to belly or belly to back. You are prone to sweating profusely, especially your tiny piggy toes. You are approximately 24 inches long and about 14 pounds. The swing is still one of your favorite napping places. As for play, you are currently enjoying a jumping seat and a walker. You are able to reach your big toe on the ground and push off which sends you backwards, much to your surprise and delight. Thankfully you still behave in the bathtub and for this my tiny angel, I am in debt to you. It would really stink if you hated the water. You love when we sing:

thinkin' everything is all right
I know there will soon be a day when you will see throgh all this corniness, but right now you are eating it up. Sometimes you pet Phoebe, but she doesn't really know what to do with you yet. Soon, you will leave her food treats and all the hair pulling will be forgiven. Speaking of forgiveness, you are due for shots on Tuesday. Sorry big girl – it's that or chicken pox. Chicken pox scar – you'll thank me later, I'm sure!
